Soul Trader

The film tells the story of a despondent soul (Alan Cammish) who arrives in a strange place where he must confront his (mostly) inner demons.

The film was made and produced in Birmingham by a fantastic team of locals and received a small grant from Reel Brum’s Open Fund.

‘Soul Trader’ received it’s premiere screening at Reel Brum, The Bond, Birmingham on 29 Sept 2025. Subsequent screenings at various festivals including: Folkestone Film Festival, nominated for best short film and winner of grand jury prize for ‘Best Production’; Short is Beautiful Festival winner of ‘Best In Category (15-20 mins)’; Absurd Film Festival.
